Many people assume the skins of frogs and toads are smooth and slimy, but the photos captured by Michael Palmer from Southampton, Hants, England, show the incredible detail and bumpy textures on the skins of the amphibians that gathered around Janesmoor Pond in the New Forest during mating season.
