Sayram Lake, located in the Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is still covered in snow and ice despite it being spring. The scenic spot has been offering half-price tickets for female tourists since March 5 to celebrate International Women's Day (IWD) on March 8.
