Henry Tan, a lawmaker from Hong Kong SAR, claimed that improving electoral laws is not an attack on the city's democracy. He believes Hong Kong will continue its role as an international financial, transportation and innovation center for Asia and the world, by taking advantage of the country's five year development plan - which will also greatly benefit residents.
