Ryan Hass on China-U.S. relations: Stabilized, but no substantive improvement

Ryan Hass is a scholar at the Brookings Institution's John L. Thornton China Center. He was formerly the director for China on the National Security Council during Barack Obama's second term. In an exclusive interview with Tian Wei, he made this assessment on U.S.-China relations: "It was like a flying plane on verge to crash. Now it's stabilized, but no substantive improvement."
