The Chinese mainland recorded 10 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, all from overseas, data from the National Health Commission (NHC) showed on Sunday.

No more deaths related to COVID-19 were reported on Saturday, the NHC said.

Ten new asymptomatic cases were recorded on Saturday, while 262 asymptomatic patients are under medical observation.

This brought the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland to 90,044, with the death toll unchanged at 4,636.

The total number of confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and the Taiwan region are as follows:

Hong Kong: 11,257 (10,739 recoveries, 203 deaths)

Macao: 48 (47 recoveries)

Taiwan: 984 (942 recoveries, 10 deaths)
