Achieving prosperity for all through poverty eradication has long been a desire of the Chinese nation, and Chinese Communists have endeavored to transform this dream into reality for generations. 

By the end of 2020, more than 1,800 people sacrificed their lives to poverty alleviation work in China. Because of their service, the once poor and needy have hope for a better life. Building a moderately prosperous society and leaving no individual behind is the commitment of more than three million poverty alleviation workers who have devoted themselves to the campaign.
