Research plans for China's latest domestically developed manned submersible "Fendouzhe," known as "Striver," are expected to be unveiled at a handover ceremony in south China's Sanya City. "Striver" completed its deep-sea trial missions in November 2020 at the Challenger Deep of the Mariana Trench, the deepest known point on Earth's seabed.
