Hong Kong SAR is expanding its COVID-19 vaccination program to different groups, including people between 30 and 59. The first part of the program inoculated those 60 and above. Students age 16 or older studying overseas will also be included in the priority group. This move means that more than 5.5 million people, accounting for more than 80 percent of the SAR's population, will be inoculated. More than 198,000 people have received their first dose, accounting for three percent of the population above the age of 16.
