Security forces in Myanmar shot dead at least 20 Monday

The Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP) said at least 20 people had been killed on Monday in shootings by security forces in Myanmar. The military have also imposed martial law in parts of Yangon, giving commanders more powers to stamp out dissent.
