Sierra Leonean President Julius Maada Bio became the first citizen to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in the country, which officially rolled out its mass vaccination campaign on March 15. Sierra Leone received a donation of 200,000 doses of vaccine from the Chinese company Sinopharm.
