An off-duty medics couple sprung to action to save an elderly man's life after he collapsed on a busy road in Lanzhou City, northwest China's Gansu Province on March 14. 

The couple was driving nearby when they saw the man suddenly fall down. As medical professionals, the wife wasted no time in practicing cadio-pulmonary resuscitation (CRR) on the senior as her husband called for the emergency medical service. 

The sick man is hospitalized and is now in stable condition.
