The China-U.S. high-level strategic dialogue takes place. The Chinese delegation led by senior diplomats Yang Jiechi and Wang Yi has arrived at a hotel in Alaska ahead of talks with American officials. The meeting is the first face-to-face contact between the two countries since U.S. President Joe Biden took office.
