China urges the U.S. and Japan to immediately stop interfering in China's internal affairs, stop forming an anti-China clique, and stop undermining regional peace and stability, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said during a regular press conference on Wednesday. His remarks came in response to the joint statement issued by the U.S. and Japan after holding their "2+2" Security Consultative Committee on March 16.
