A high-level strategic dialogue between China and the United States is underway in the Alaskan city of Anchorage, United States. At the meeting, Yang Jiechi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee, said both China and the U.S. are big countries and both have important responsibilities to contribute to world's peace, stability and development.
