A high-level strategic dialogue between China and the United States is underway in Anchorage, Alaska. At the meeting, Yang Jiechi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee, said that if the U.S. uses cutthroat competition to suppress China, it will be the one to suffer in the end.
