A face-to-face meeting is worth a thousand other forms of communication, said an expert of Chinese affairs on the China-U.S. high level meeting.

"Even though there could be some arguments and disputes, but it's very important that they meet face to face in the real situation," said Wang Huiyao, president of the Center for China and Globalization, on the sidelines of the China Development Forum on Saturday.
