Complete square bronze zun unearthed from Pit No. 3 at Sanxingdui site, SW China
A complete square bronze zun (cylindrical drinking vessel) was the subject of an unprecedented discovery at the Sanxingdui Ruins site in Sichuan Province, southwestern China. It is a rare object among those found from the same period in the southern region.
This time, the bronze square zun is not only rare in shape, but also well preserved and exquisitely decorated.
