A high-level meeting in Alaska between top diplomats from China and the United States concluded on March 19. It started with tough words exchanged between both sides, with U.S. delegates leveling accusations against China's domestic and foreign policies. But such politics might not reflect the sentiment on the ground. A Protocol survey of the U.S. tech community found that 60 percent of the respondents believed that American tech companies should work more closely with their Chinese counterparts.
