A new batch of vaccines from Chinese pharmaceutical company Sinovac has arrived in Colombian capital Bogota on Saturday. 

Colombia launched a mass vaccination campaign against the COVID-19 pandemic on Wednesday. 

The first stage of the National Vaccination Plan includes the immunization of healthcare workers and those over 80 years of age.

Colombia has registered 2,331,187 confirmed cases of COVID-19 infection and 61,907 deaths from the disease as of Saturday, according to the health ministry.
