Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Sunday in a live speech that Iran was in no hurry to strike a nuclear deal and reiterated that the U.S. must lift all sanctions first.

"If the Joint Commission on the Iran nuclear agreement (JCPOA) needs any modifications, they must be done in favor of Iran, not the U.S.," he was quoted as saying by Mehr news agency. "We trusted the Obama administration and made our commitments but the U.S. did not so. We do not believe in Americans."
