As of Saturday, over 6 million people in Malaysia registered to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in its national vaccination drive, according to the health ministry.
Around 410,000 people have received the first dose of the vaccine, according to the latest data.
The Malaysian government plans to inoculate at least 80 percent of its over 31 million population in the national immunization program, which is expected to be completed by February 2022.
