March 21 marks World Sleep Day, a day designated to raising awareness of the importance of healthy sleep.
Statistics show that 80 percent of Chinese children and teenagers are getting insufficient sleep on school days, according to a blue paper released in early March by the Institute of Psychology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
To find out more about sleep patterns among young people, CGTN interviewed a number of students in China ranging from preschool to grade 11.
