A bronze artifact weighing over 100 kilograms was unearthed at the Sanxingdui archaeological site in southwest China's Sichuan Province on Sunday. The relic, up to 70 centimeters in length, is the biggest discovery at the site to date. The ruins belong to the ancient Shu Kingdom, which existed over 3,000 years ago. A fresh round of excavation at sacrificial pits is currently underway – 34 years after the first one.
