Chinese archaelogists extracted gold foil pieces on Monday in Pit 5 of Sanxingdui Ruins site, in Sichuan Province, Southwest China. These gold pieces are thin and fragile, make it difficult for the extraction work. Each gold foil piece will be recorded and numbered, and hyperspectral imaging technology will be used for confirming the content of gold pieces.
