The work of excavating the newly-found six sacrificial pits of the Sanxingdui Ruins site progresses. Archaeologists discovered more than 500 important cultural items including pieces of miniature ivory sculptures and textile products. The archaeological work continues as scheduled. Why does the soil from the sacrificial pits need to be conserved? What possibly leads to the downfall of the ancient Shu civilization? There still are questions we need to work out.
