The Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee on Wednesday released the official logo for activities to mark CPC's 100th founding anniversary.

The logo is expected to appear in celebratory decorations and various articles used for publicity as well as public educational activities. 

A statement released by the Publicity Department specified the scope of the logo's application: invitations, documents and notices for celebration and publicity events, and media reports. 

The statement emphasized that the logo should be used only in activities related to the centenary celebrations. 

A series of events will be held to celebrate the centenary of the CPC this year.
