Spokesperson: China-EU investment agreement 'beneficial to the world'

China's Ministry of Commerce said Thursday that the investment agreement between China and the European Union (EU) is in the interests of both sides as well as the whole world.

Ministry spokesperson Gao Feng made the remarks in response to European parliament's decision to cancel a Tuesday meeting on the deal.
