China says claims of forced labor in Xinjiang are a smear campaign and conspiracy by the U.S. The Foreign Ministry spokesperson made the comment after showing a video in which retired U.S. Army Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson said using Uygurs could be an efficient way to foment unrest in China.
