Spring season has come with blooming flowers across China ahead of the three-day Qingming Festival holiday, April 3-5 this year, an occasion to remember deceased loved ones in the country.

Peach blossoms are often seen as the messenger of spring in Nyingchi, a popular tourist destination located in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region.

Hundreds of thousands of peach trees along the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon are in full bloom. The flowers against the backdrop of green highland barley and the snow-capped mountains in the distance present a majestic landscape.

The 19th Nyingchi Peach Blossom Festival that started Saturday, is ready to welcome visitors from across the country. Today, the annual festival has become a symbol of Nyingchi tourism.

Rapeseed flowers are also commonly seen in spring. These vibrant yellow flowers and emerald green wheat seedlings color the land in Yangxian, a county in northwest China's Shaanxi Province. Covering an area of more than 90 square kilometers, the seasonal beauty often attracts throngs of visitors from near and far.

This year, the timing for tea picking came earlier than before, and it's expected that the picking season will last longer as a result of the warm weather.
