Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with his counterpart from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed al-Nahyan, in Abu Dhabi on Sunday. The UAE will begin producing the Sinopharm vaccine after the two countries finished a first phase 3 international clinical trial of the COVID-19 vaccine. The two diplomats said the project indicates the enhanced partnership between the two countries.
