El Salvador has received a million COVID-19 vaccines, half of the 2 million purchased from Chinese pharmaceutical firm Sinovac. This is the fourth batch of vaccines El Salvador has received, following vaccines purchased from AstraZeneca and those obtained from the WHO's COVAX initiative.
