A pair of bald eagles were found nesting on a 145-feet Jeffrey pine tree in California's Big Bear Lake. Jackie and Shadow laid their first egg on February 8 and a second clutch three days later. Since then, they have been incubating the eggs.

Sadly, the chick in the first egg appears to have stopped moving, but Jackie and Shadow continue to diligently care for the second.
