Excavation at the Sanxingdui site in southwest China's Sichuan Province has been underway for nearly 100 years – since the location was first discovered in the late 1920s. The more the artifacts unearthed from the site, the more the questions that remain unanswered. Some may say that this once prosperous and advanced civilization seems to have vanished into thin air.
