China's Foreign Ministry held a press conference on Xinjiang-related issues Monday. Taking a question from CGTN about the allegation that children in Xinjiang are forcibly separated from their parents, Xinjiang officials and an official from a boarding school called it a lie. The officials said children are taken to boarding schools due to geographic reasons and it's due to parents having difficulty taking them back and forth.
