The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government expects to hold Legislative Council elections in December – more than a year after they were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, said HKSAR Chief Executive Carrie Lam at a press conference after China's top legislature approved two bills on Hong Kong's electoral system.
