China is donating COVID-19 vaccines to 80 countries and three international organizations besides exporting them to over 40 countries, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said on Tuesday, adding that it was also cooperating with over 10 countries in vaccines research, development and production.
Addressing a regular press briefing, Hua reiterated China's opposition to "vaccine nationalism" as well as irresponsible and unethical behaviors that create "immunity gap."
She urged capable countries to provide vaccines to other countries in need, especially developing countries, so that people across the world can be vaccinated.
