China successfully launched the Gaofen-12 02 satellite from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwestern China at 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday (Beijing Time).
The satellite will be used for field monitoring including land resources survey and disaster prevention and reduction.
The satellites were carried by a Long March-4C rocket. It was the 364th flight mission of the Long March carrier rocket series.
