The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) on Wednesday delivered a batch of COVID-19 vaccines to the Lao military at the latter's request and with the approval of the Central Military Commission, said China's Ministry of National Defense.

Laos has given priority to medical workers, customs staff and other high-risk groups to receive the Chinese vaccine after the first batch of China-donated Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccines arrived in February.
