Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hua Chunying called on Japan to stop slandering China during a regular press conference on Thursday. 

Her remarks came in response to questions about a meeting of Japanese and Indonesian foreign and defense ministers in Tokyo earlier this week. 

China is gravely concerned about Japan's recent negative moves concerning China, Hua said. She urged Japan to stop slandering China and take concrete actions to safeguard the overall interests of the China-Japan relations.
