The second shipment of China's Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine was received at Argentina's Buenos Aires airport on Thursday by the country's health minister Carla Vizzotti.

Argentina has approved the vaccine for use in people over the age of 60, Vizzotti said, adding that the clinical trials have shown its safety and effectiveness.
