China's FAST, the world's largest single-dish radio telescope, has opened to global scientists and accepted observation applications from March 31st. China's "Sky Eye" has become more important to radio astronomy since Puerto Rico's Arecibo telescope became damaged and non-functional at the end of 2020. So what opportunities will China's telescope offer for scientists and international cooperation? And what are they looking for out there?
