Argentine President Alberto Fernandez said his antigen test for COVID-19 was positive on Saturday after developing a mild fever and slight headache.
Fernandez added on Twitter that he was in self-isolation as he's awaiting further confirmation from more conclusive testing.
The announcement came on the day of his 62nd birthday.
He was inoculated with the Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine on January 21, a day after the country's health regulator approved the Russian-made vaccine for use among those aged 60 and older.
