The first batch of COVID-19 vaccines purchased from China arrived in Tbilisi, the capital city of Georgia, on Saturday. 

Georgia launched a nationwide inoculation campaign against COVID-19 on March 15 after getting its first vaccine batch from COVAX.

So far, a total of 283,369 infections have been reported in the country, with 3,804 fatalities, according to data released by the Johns Hopkins University.
