More than 100 million people in the United States have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine as of Friday, according to data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

A total of 101,804,762 Americans have received at lease one dose, while over 57.9 million Americans have been fully vaccinated. Those who are fully vaccinated constitute about 17.5 percent of the entire population.

Earlier in the day, the U.S. CDC updated its travel guidance, saying fully vaccinated people can travel within the U.S. without any testing or post-travel self-quarantine as long as they continue to take precautions while traveling including wearing a mask, socially distancing and washing hands frequently.
