The peach blossom has always had special meanings in China. In Chinese culture, it symbolizes not only the arrival of spring, but also a beautiful, carefree ideal life.

In the well-known fable "Peach Blossom Spring" written by famous Chinese poet Tao Yuanming of the Eastern Jin Dynasty (365-427), the place a fisherman discovered, full of peach blossoms, is an ethereal utopia. People there live an ideal life in harmony with nature unaware of the outside world.

The Peach Blossom Spring Scenic Area, located 15 kilometers southwest of Taoyuan County in central China's Hunan Province, is the official source of inspiration for the utopia described by Tao Yuanming. This area has been named after the peach blossoms since the establishment of the Jin Dynasty, it has a history of more than 1,600 years.

Here you can not only see natural scenery such as peach blossoms, but also visit Taoist temples and other cultural monuments.

The most breathtaking peach blossom viewing place in China is probably in Nyingchi Prefecture, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region.

Every spring, starting from late March until end of April, hundreds of thousands of flowering peach trees bloom in Nyingchi along the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon.

Varying in colors from white to ruby, the flowers against the backdrop of a green highland barley and snow mountains in the distance present a majestic landscape.

Although the annual Nyingchi peach blossom festival already closed during the Qingming holiday, the blossoms can be seen until the end of April.

Pinggu district in Beijing, north China is the famous hometown of Pinggu peaches. The 20,000 acres of large peaches have been called the world's largest peach orchard, China's largest peach township, and the capital's largest fruit area.

Every year around mid-April, when the Pinggu peach blossoms are in full bloom, the ocean of flowers is undulating and magnificent. Every year, it attracts countless tourists.
