As many as 11 people died and 19 were injured after a truck collided with a passenger bus on the Shenyang-Haikou Expressway in east China's Jiangsu Province at 12:51 a.m. on Sunday.

Per details, the truck rammed through the road divider and crashed into the bus, causing it to overturn. Consequently, two more trucks in line ended up in rear-end collision.

All the injured have been shifted to a hospital.

Preliminary investigation shows that the bus was shuttling between Shanghai and Guanyun County.

Per reports, the truck was not overloaded when the accident took place, but further investigation is underway.
