Taiwan transport authorities said on Sunday that railway traffic in Hualien, where a deadly train derailment claimed at least 48 lives on Friday, will resume around April 20.
The number of injured has risen to 200 while the identities of 48 people have been confirmed, according to a news conference on Sunday.
The rescue team plans to dissect the last two carriages, though they face difficulties in separating carriages 5 and 6 due to the possibility of human bodies.
The investigation is expected to yield results in two months.
The head of the island's transport department Lin Chia-lung said he will resign.
