A Taiwan court on Sunday withdrew the bail application of Lee Yi-hsiang, manager of a construction site whose truck was believed to have caused a train accident that killed at least 48 people, for rejudgment.

Li issued an apology to the public when removed from his residence by the police on Sunday.
