Chinese aircraft carrier conducts training in waters around Taiwan

The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy has organized the task group of Chinese aircraft carrier Liaoning to conduct exercises near the island of Taiwan, said Gao Xiucheng, a PLA Navy spokesperson.

It was part of an annually scheduled regular training, said Gao.
