Chinese mainland reports 32 new COVID-19 cases

The Chinese mainland recorded 32 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, including 15 locally transmitted cases in southwest China's Yunnan Province, data from the National Health Commission (NHC) showed on Monday.

No additional deaths related to COVID-19 were reported, the NHC said.

Eighteen new asymptomatic cases were recorded on the same day, of which five are from Yunnan, while 304 asymptomatic patients are under medical observation.

This brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland to 90,305, with the death toll unchanged at 4,636.

The total number of confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and the Taiwan region are as follows:

Hong Kong: 11,508 (11,139 recoveries, 205 deaths)

Macao: 48 (48 recoveries)

Taiwan: 1,047 (997 recoveries, 10 deaths)
